By using this website or registering for a course, you agree to these terms, to the participant waiver you sign during registration, and to the Cancellation & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not register.

You must be 18 or older to register yourself through this website. You must be legally permitted to possess a firearm under applicable federal, state, and local law, and you must meet any course-specific prerequisite stated at registration — for example a valid Illinois FOID card or completion of a required online module.

We may decline or cancel a registration where a prerequisite is unmet or where participation would create a safety risk.

You agree that the information you provide — identity, emergency contact, prerequisite status, and any accessibility or medical note relevant to your safety — is true and complete. Withholding a condition that affects your safety on the range may result in removal from a course without refund.

Submitting the registration form requests a place in a course; your place is confirmed when we schedule it and payment terms are met.

• •Fixed-rate courses are paid in full at registration.
• •Sliding-scale services are secured by a deposit, with the balance set at the final rate once the service is rendered.
• •Prices, taxes, and any add-on fees are shown before payment.
• •Cancellations, transfers, no-shows, and late arrivals are governed entirely by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Instructor direction is final on any range or in any classroom. Participants must follow all posted and stated safety rules at all times.

Anyone who is impaired, who handles a firearm unsafely, who refuses instruction, or who behaves in a manner that endangers others will be removed from the course immediately and forfeits all fees paid.

Training is instruction, not certification of competence and not legal advice. Course completion certificates record attendance and completion of the stated curriculum. Nothing on this site or in a course guarantees the issuance of any license or permit, and nothing stated by an instructor is a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney regarding the use of force.

Signed waivers, issued certificates, and payment records are retained as permanent training and financial records. Certificates are issued to the named participant and may not be altered, transferred, or reproduced in a misleading way.

If you submit course feedback, you grant us permission to publish it in whole or in part, attributed to a first name and last initial or a display name you provide. Tell us at any time to remove it.

You agree not to attempt unauthorized access to any part of this site, to interfere with its operation, to scrape it at volume, or to submit false or automated form entries. Site content, branding, course materials, and the organization's marks are the property of Sling & Stone Defense-Training, LLC and may not be reused without written permission.

The liability terms applicable to training are set out in the participant waiver you sign at registration and control over anything on this page. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of this website is limited to the amount you paid for the course at issue.
